What is Youth Choir?
Our Youth Choir is more than just singing - it's a community of young people who use their voices to lead worship, build friendships, and grow in their faith together. We perform contemporary Christian music, classic hymns with modern arrangements.
Experience Level: All levels welcome - from beginners to experienced singers
What Makes Our Youth Choir Special
It's About More Than Music - While we love creating beautiful music together, our choir is really about using our gifts to worship God and serve our church family. You'll grow spiritually while developing your musical talents.
Everyone Has a Place - Whether you're a natural soloist or prefer blending with the group, whether you read music or sing by ear, there's a spot for you in our choir family.
Real Friendships - Some of the closest friendships in our youth group have started in choir rehearsal. There's something special about creating music together that bonds people.
Performance Opportunities - We regularly sing for Sunday worship services, and special events. It's exciting to see how our music touches people's hearts!
No Experience? No Problem!
Learn as You Go - Our choir director and experienced members will help you learn everything you need to know. We all started somewhere!
Music Reading Optional - While helpful, you don't need to read music to participate. Many of our singers learn by ear and do beautifully.
Voice Training Included - You'll naturally improve your singing skills through our warm-ups, exercises, and practice. It's like getting voice lessons as part of the fun!
Confidence Building - Nervous about singing in front of others? Our supportive environment will help you gain confidence and discover the joy of your voice.
Performance Opportunities
Sunday Morning Worship - Lead the congregation in worship through special music and hymns
Holiday Services - Christmas and Easter presentations that are highlights of our church calendar
Youth Sunday - Special services where youth take leadership in all aspects of worship
Beyond Just Singing
Leadership Development - Older choir members often mentor younger ones and take on leadership roles within the group
Technical Skills - Learn about sound systems, microphones, and music production through our performances
